The Colts played a fantastic game in a critical week for their divisional standings. Here is how the rest of the division fared.

The Colts are still at the top of the division after beating the Chiefs in a big upset. That improves their record to 3-2 going into their bye week in which they desperately need to get healthy. But unfortunately they couldn’t take the solo lead in the division.

That’s because Houston opened up a can against the Falcons. They killed Atlanta 53-32 and looked really good on the offensive side of the ball. They improve their record up to 3-2. Now they face the Chiefs in Arrowhead next week in a critical game for both teams.

Tennessee lost a gross offensive game to the Bills 14-7. They had all kinds of kicker issues, and ended up cutting their kicker after he missed four field goals. Now they are 2-3 and at the bottom of the division. They play in Denver next Sunday.

Jacksonville played a tough game against Carolina. They ended up on the losing end, falling 34-27 after a monster game by Christian McCaffrey. It takes Jacksonville down to 2-3 and tied with the Titans at the bottom of the division as well. They play the Saints next week.

dark. Next. Despite upset victory, Colts still not getting love

By the end of next week, the Colts might be alone in first place without even having to play a game. That’s the beauty of beating a team no one expected you to beat. The schedule starts to open up a bit for them as well and becomes easier. That’s good news headed into the middle of the season.
