Marlon Mack is going to be a huge player in this game. He seems to have fully recovered from that calf injury that made him a game-time decision in last week’s victory over the Falcons. He needs to have a big game if the Colts want to overcome their injuries.

There’s a solid chance that T.Y. Hilton is out for this one after re-injuring his quad. That means the Colts will be down both him and Devin Funchess, their top two receivers. It also means that they will be relying even more on the run game than they have the last three games.

Mack is up for the challenge. He’s still third in the league in rushing through three games, and that includes a sub-par performance against the Titans in week two. Expect Mack to get a lot of work in this one, and expect a lot of runs to the outside.

Those runs to the outside, mainly the stretch play, have been where the Colts have had a large amount of success. Getting Mack in space is where he does most of his damage. He can make guys miss and turn on the jets in the open field. The stretch play allows him to do both.

Mack is the big key on the offensive side of the ball, but there are a couple of other guys on defense who should be watched in this one as well. One of them is on the defensive line and could be primed for a breakout game.
