The Colts play their first home game of the year, but this one is going to be tougher than people think to win.

It wasn’t that long ago when the Falcons had a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl. They are still a pretty good team, even though they blew that lead in humiliating fashion. They travel to Indianapolis this weekend, and the Colts have their hands full for a few reasons.

One of those reasons is that they might be missing a few key players. They have several guys listed as questionable on their injury report, including Darius Leonard who has a concussion. If he can’t go, it’s up to rookie Bobby Okereke to take his spot.

Another reason are the two pass catchers that Atlanta has. Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley are really good at the receiver position. It will be tough for the secondary to keep those two in check. That’s an obvious key if the Colts want to win the game.

But there are three big things that I am watching for in this game that are keys for a Colts victory. These are things that aren’t necessarily obvious on the surface, but are still very important nonetheless. If they are able to do these three things, they should win the game.

One of these things is for the Colts to keep their emotions in check in the first home game of 2019.
