The Colts have a relatively healthy team right now, but they are missing two guys at the defensive end position going into week two right now.

The Colts had a mostly healthy squad for their opener against the Chargers. That is still the case right now heading into week two against the Titans. But there are three players still on the injury report who did not take place in practice at all today.

Jabaal Sheard was one of those. He is still recovering from his offseason knee surgery. He wasn’t expected to practice today, and I would be surprised if he played on Sunday. It looks like he is still a couple of weeks away from really making an impact.

Kemoko Turay also did not practice. He is still nursing that neck injury that held him out of practice a couple of days last week. Turay did play against the Chargers in week one though, so I would expect him to be out there against the Titans unless he has a setback.

Jonathan Williams also did not practice. He is still out with a rib injury. He, like Sheard, is still probably a couple of weeks away from being able to do much. The Colts don’t really need him though, as they still have three active running backs to share the load.

Hopefully the injury report stays this clear heading into Sunday. The Colts are going to need everyone if they are going to win this game on Sunday. Health is a big part of winning that game.
