The Colts start their season on Sunday in L.A. Here are the top three things to look for that could decide the game.

The Colts play their first game of the 2019 season on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles. It is going to be a tough game for them to win. It’s on the road, against a good team, and they have a new quarterback playing his first game as the unquestioned starter.

It’s the first game for both teams, so expect some rust to be showcased. But there should still be some high quality football played. These are still two good rosters, although this will give us a first look to see just how good the Colts can be with Jacoby Brissett.

There are some things that the Colts can do to give themselves the best chance to win that aren’t super obvious. Yes playing well on offense and defense is needed, but that is super obvious. Every team needs to do that if they want to win football games.

If the Colts can do three certain thins on Sunday, they should come out winners. I’m not even sure if they can do these three things with the roster that they have. But if they can, they will win on Sunday and look good doing so.

Here are those three things. The first thing they have to do is actually regarding their defensive matchups against the Chargers.
