The Colts will be mostly healthy going into their matchup on Sunday against the Chargers. But they might be missing a key defensive player for the game.

The Colts play their week one game against the Chargers on Sunday in L.A. They will do so while mostly healthy. They have been extremely cautious with their players to prevent injury in the preseason. Now we have the final injury report for the game.

There are two players ruled out. They are Jabaal Sheard and Jonathan Williams. Neither one of these are surprises as both have been held out all of the preseason. Sheard had knee surgery during training camp and Williams has a rib injury. Sheard probably will miss a couple of weeks.

There are two other players who are questionable. Jordan Wilkins, who hasn’t played at all this preseason and didn’t do much during camp, is questionable with an ankle injury. He was a full participant of practice today after being limited earlier in the week.

Kemoko Turay is the other player listed as questionable. He didn’t not appear on the injury report until yesterday with a neck injury. He was a limited participant yesterday and didn’t practice at all today. That trend doesn’t bode well, so it would be a surprise to see him on Sunday.

All in all, this isn’t too bad of an injury report. Really it shouldn’t be. It’s week one, and most of the players should be healthy. They can’t use injuries as an excuse if they don’t win on Sunday afternoon.
