In some non-Andrew Luck related news, the Colts play their first game since the franchise QB retired tonight against the Bengals. Here’s what to watch for tonight.

The Colts play their final preseason game of the year tonight in Cincinnati. They will be playing their first game in the post-Luck era. Because of that, Jacoby Brissett might not play tonight. It would be the second straight preseason game he has sat if that happens.

Even if Brissett does sit, there’s still plenty to look forward to. First is the Colts debut of Parris Campbell. Campbell has been sidelined for the last month with a hamstring injury. He should play tonight and get his first action in blue and white.

The offensive line needs to play better tonight. They haven’t looked good in the preseason thus far and now that they know they won’t have Luck to bail them out, they need to block better. The run game has suffered because of their poor play.

On defense, the battle at secondary is something to watch. With Nate Hairston being traded yesterday for a 6th round pick, Marvell Tell has a chance to make the team now. He has played very poorly though, and another poor showing could show him the door.

It will be interesting to see how the team plays in this first game after all the craziness. They need to band together and play for themselves and still be the winning team that they know they can still be.
