Training camp officially ended on Thursday, and now the Colts have some work to do when it comes to trimming down their roster. Here are the three biggest takeaways from camp this year.

Training camps are always interesting. It’s the time of year where players start to get back into shape and fight for roster spots. It’s also the time of year where competition inside of a team is at its highest. People are fighting for their livelihood during training camp.

This year’s training camp was more eventful than most for the Colts. They had a lot of things happen, and most of them weren’t that good. They dealt with several injuries, tried to find depth at key positions, and played a couple of losing preseason games.

Despite all of that, there were good things that happened too. There was the emergence of Chad Kelly, the defensive line looking great, and some good play by some rookies. There was a lot to take in at Grand Park this year. Here are the three biggest takeaway from camp this season.
