Now that we have looked at the preseason as a whole, we take a look at the first preseason game, which will happen tomorrow at 7pm.

The football season is finally about to start. Training camp is a nice introduction, but preseason is the first game action. That first game is tomorrow against the Bills. There are several things to watch in this specific matchup against Buffalo.

On offense, I’m looking to see who gets reps at wide receiver. The receiver battle might be the most intriguing battle on the offense. It suddenly has turned into one of the deeper positions on the team after lacking that depth a year ago. It will be interesting to see if Parris Campbell plays.

The backup offensive line needs a good showing as well. They haven’t looked very good in camp so far, but that could be because of how good the defensive line is. Playing against another team will show just how good they are. This is big for the depth of the line.

On defense, I’m looking at who comes out with the first team in the secondary. Based on everything I’ve seen, it could be Rock Ya-Sin in the second outside corner spot instead of Quincy Wilson. It also should still be Clayton Geathers over Khari Willis, but that’s still up in the air.

There won’t be any Andrew Luck tomorrow, so Jacoby Brissett will be running the first team. He is set to play about a quarter according to Frank Reich. He should look pretty good based on how he’s looked in camp. After that, it will be Philip Walker and Chad Kelly.

Next. What to watch for in Colts preseason. dark

We won’t learn a ton about the team tomorrow, but something is better than nothing. We finally get to see some Colts football in a live setting.
