I spend some time at Grand Park today to observe Colts camp. Here are some interesting things that I saw while I was there.

If you haven’t been to Grand Park in Westfield for Colts Training camp yet, you should make an effort to get there. The facility is fantastic. I was out there again today, and saw some interesting things while I was there, including a couple of rookies getting first team reps.

Linebacker Bobby Okereke got some first team reps during drills today. He is fighting for a spot in that linebacking corp for the right to play next to Darius Leonard. Okereke had some good moments today, but will need to keep it up if he wants to start.

Safety Khari Willis also got some first team reps out there as well. Willis was expected to compete with Clayton Geathers for time at the strong safety position. Willis has shown well so far in camp and might split time with Geathers for that starting spot.

Jacoby Brissett looked pretty sharp today as well. He threw a deep touchdown pass to Zach Pascal  during one of the seven on seven drills. Brissett has gotten most of the first team reps with Luck still being hurt. Luck won’t practice tomorrow either, which I will be back out there tomorrow as well.

Rock Ya-Sin looked really good today as well. He uses his hands so well. After practice was over, he was getting some work on his press coverage technique. He also got the majority of first team reps as well. Quincy Wilson got most of the backup reps instead, which is an interesting development.

Next. Colts have three players work out for them. dark

I will be back out there tomorrow to watch more of Colts practice, and I will be tweeting out my observations as well as writing more articles on what I see.
