On this Father’s Day, the Colts will have a player on their team become a new member of the father’s club, Andrew Luck.

Father’s Day, like Mother’s Day, is a great time to celebrate all of the dads out there and what they have done for all of us. There will be a new father to be added to that illustrious club. That new father will be Andrew Luck, as he is expecting his first child.

In an interview on WTHR, Luck confirmed that he and his wife are expecting their first child. They will be new parents. Luck admitted that he is nervous about the venture and has never actually changed a diaper before in his life. That seems to be a little hard to believe.

If Luck’s fatherhood skills are anything like his leadership skills on the field, he will be a great dad yet. He has led the Colts to great heights since being drafted number one overall in 2012. He hasn’t quite been able to lead them to the Super Bowl, but that could be coming.

Luck won’t let his new duties of being a father affect his game once the baby does come. He will make sure he invests the proper amount of time in both ventures. The quarterback also said in his interview that this will be the toughest job that he’s ever had.

Good for Luck and his wife. Being a dad brings joy to everyone, and now Luck will understand what that joy feels like soon enough.
