NFL.com did a list of the best players under the age of 25, and three Colts made the list. All of them are fairly easy to guess.

The Colts are one of the youngest teams in the league. In fact, they were the youngest team last season if you take out the age of kicker Adam Vinatieri. But they aren’t just young, they’re very good. The rest of the league has taken notice of that as well.

NFL.com listed their All-under 25 team. The Colts had three players on it. One of them was All-Pro linebacker Darius Leonard. This is of no surprise, as he was the best linebacker in the league last season. He should only get better too as the game slows down for him.

Quenton Nelson also made the team. The number six overall pick in last year’s draft was also named an All-Pro as a rookie. He helped solidify an offensive line that really came on the last half of the season and was one of the league’s best.

The third member of the team was also a rookie. He was the unsung hero of the offensive line. That man is Braden Smith. He was originally drafted as a guard, but was thrust into the right tackle spot after injuries. He never relinquished it and was as reliable as anyone.

All three of these players should only get better as their time in the league increases. The game should slow down for them and they will get bigger and stronger. The Colts couldn’t be more excited.
