Now that the draft is over and most of the draft picks have been signed, which players should be on the lookout for possibly losing their job.

The Colts have wanted to build a culture of competition and depth. They have done that at almost every position on the roster. Now that the draft is finished, there are several players who might be sweating their position on their team. But quite frankly, it’s because of their own doing.

Every player on this list has been on the team for some time and has been given an opportunity to contribute. But at this point, it doesn’t make sense for them to stay on the roster. Others have come in to take their jobs and have the talent to do so.

Some of these players were drafted by the former GM and survived the early cuts of Chris Ballard. Others have just not performed the way they were supposed to when they were brought in. But it’s a pretty even split between offensive and defensive players.

With that being the case, this training camp is set up to be one of the most competitive camps the Colts have had in several years. Preseason games will be even more important than they usually are. More people are in danger of losing their jobs than ever before.

With that being the case, we come to our first player on the list. He was supposed to help protect the quarterback, but has failed to do so.
