Today is the day; it’s finally the day of the first round of the NFL draft. With that being the case, it’s time for one more mock draft. Here are the top three prospects the Colts could take with their first round pick.

Tonight is the start of the NFL draft. Fans have been waiting months for this to finally be here. With that being the case, it’s time to do one final mock draft before we finally learn what is going to take place. There are three guys who the Colts should target with their first round pick.

These are guys who are most likely to be around when the Colts make their first round pick at 26 overall. There’s almost no chance the Colts will trade up to get someone, so they will likely wait for one of these guys to fall to their spot.

Not all of these guys fill an immediate need, but they all fill some sort of need. All of these guys can also immediately contribute to the team from day one. That is a must in today’s NFL. First round picks, except maybe some quarterbacks, need to be able to contribute right away.

Fans should be excited to get any one of these players. They are all excellent players who showed that they deserve to be a first round pick while they were in college. This ranking is in terms of who fills the biggest need. This first guy is someone I’ve been saying for months that they should take.
