The Colts have an exciting season ahead in 2019. There are several things that fans should look forward to all season long.

A new NFL season inspires hope for all fanbases. It means that every team has a chance to win a championship that year and leave the pain of the previous season behind. The Colts in particular have a lot of things for fans to look forward to.

One of the things that fans should look forward to is how the rookies from last season improve. The Colts know they have stars in Quenton Nelson and Darius Leonard. But they want to see how well Braden Smith and Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins improve.

Another big thing to look forward to are a couple of rookies who were hurt last season. Tyquan Lewis missed the first half of last season with a toe injury. He showed flashes while coming back, but a full season of him will be good to see. Same thing with Deon Cain, who missed all of 2018.

Cain’s emergence might be one of the biggest things for fans to look forward to next season. If he can be as good as he looked in training camp, the Colts got a stud late in the 2018 draft. He will get a lot of playing time too to show what he can do with Andrew Luck and company.

Next. Colts' Matt Eberflus will be even better in year 2. dark

Obviously the biggest thing to look forward to is the overall progression of the team. They won a playoff game last season, but expect to get even further this year. The hope that they can do so might be the best thing of all for fans.
