The Colts might have the best offensive line in the entire league. But which of the players are the best of the bunch?

Last season, the Colts allowed the least amount of sacks of anyone in the league. They had some injuries along the offensive line early, but when they were all healthy they were really clicking at the end of the year. They were the best offensive line in the league.

It seems safe to say that they will still have the best line in the league next year considering they keep everyone who started the majority of the year. They also have two rookies who contributed well all year long. So which of the lineman is the best?

Ryan Kelly leads the group at the center position. They have missed him a few games when he was hurt last season and the season before that. But he is a solid player when he is out there. But he isn’t quite the best the line has to offer.

Anthony Castonzo is the most senior member of the line, having been with the team since 2011. He was injured for the first few games of the year, and the team sorely missed him. Once he came back, the whole unit started to play better and looked dominant.

Castonzo might be the most important member of the line, but not the best. It seems like that distinction should already go to the rookie Quenton Nelson. Nelson, as a rookie, was selected to the Pro Bowl and was named First Team All-Pro. He is a mean dude on the line.

Next. Colts should get bargains late in free agency. dark

Nelson should only continue to get better, as should his fellow rookie Braden Smith. Both players should continue to get better, which is a scary thought for the rest of the league.
