The Colts have only made one move so far in free agency, signing a wide receiver. What else do they need to do this offseason?

The Colts made their first move of free agency last night, signing Devin Funchess to a one-year deal. He is a big wide receiver who should give Andrew Luck a solid target to look for. Receiver was definitely a need, but what else do they still need to address on the roster?

Number one is a pass rusher. The Colts need someone they can rely on to rush the quarterback in all situations. They don’t have one guy who can do that consistently on their current roster. There are a few guys still available who can do that, mainly Justin Houston.

Answer at strong safety is also something they need to have. With Landon Collins signing in Washington, the Colts don’t have a big name they can go after to take over that spot. It looks like they are probably going to try and re-sign Clayton Geathers and roll with him again.

Depth along the defensive line is also something they need to address. They had some injury problems crop up along the defensive line, so getting one or two more guys on the interior of the line wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.

Corner is a position that could turn into a need very quickly if they don’t re-sing Pierre Desir. Desir is one of the few solid corners who will hit the open market. It would be surprising if the Colts let him walk. They need his speed and his rangy length.

Expect the Colts to draft another wide receiver to help fix that problem even more. Funchess is a good start, but he doesn’t come close to completely fixing that issue. Deon Cain’s return could help that as well, but another receiver will almost certainly be drafted.
