According to last year’s winning percentage, the Colts have the seventh hardest schedule in the entire league in 2019.

The Colts were able to take advantage of a relatively easy schedule late in the season to make the playoffs. That allowed them to take care of the winnable games and make that great late season push that they did. That might be a little harder in 2019.

Based off of the winning percentages from 2018, the Colts will have the seventh hardest schedule in the NFL. That could mean nothing once the season starts. It just depends on how well these teams build on what they accomplished last season.

Even if the Colts have a tougher schedule, they should still be able to navigate it pretty well. They have a healthy mix of hard and easy road games based on last season’s performance. Their home games are a little easier as well, but that will depend on the dates in which these games are played.

Besides the other three divisional teams, the home games for the Colts are Atlanta, Miami, Oakland, Carolina, and Denver. Other than the divisional teams, their road games are New Orleans, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, and the Chargers.

If you look at that road slate, that looks pretty daunting. None of those games are automatic wins. Playing the Jags and the Titans on the road are the only two teams that I feel confident in saying they can win without too much issue.

Schedule strength is always a relative term. It will be interesting to see who ends up having the hardest schedule by the middle of the season.
