Ndamukong Suh is coming off of a one year deal with the L.A. Rams. He signed there after having spent the last few years in Miami. The Rams are the third team Suh has played for, and he might be looking at playing for a fourth next season.

Suh can be a force on the defensive line. He has made the Pro Bowl four times and has been First Team All-Pro three times. He can push the pocket and pressure the quarterback very well. But he has a few things going against him as he heads for the open market.

His on field production has slipped the last few seasons. He only managed 4.5 sacks the last two years. Add that to the fact that he is 31 years old, and teams will be hesitant to give the big defensive tackle a long-term deal with big money involved.

But what makes him more high-risk is his playing style. Suh has been fined multiple times for dirty plays, including kicking Aaron Rodgers in the groin area. He can’t seem to keep a level head sometimes, and it costs his team. Would the Colts take on such a player?

His production is worth the risk if they can sign Suh to a shorter deal, perhaps in the two year range. But that might not be the case for the next guy on the list.
