Another pass rushing specialist, Demarcus Lawrence had a great year in Dallas. He has posted back-to-back years of double digits sacks, posting 14.5 in 2017 and 10.5 in 2018. He has a proven track record of being able to sack the quarterback.

Lawrence would be paired alongside Jabaal Sheard on the outside. Tyquan Lewis would then slide in to the backup spot for either one of these guys. But there is no doubt Lawrence would be an upgrade over either one of these players.

Lawrence would be the most expensive of all of the free agents listed so far. He has done the most in the league and has made the biggest impact. Because of that, he will command a large salary, which could be a good thing for the Colts.

Having the amount of cap space that they do, the Colts could afford to sign Lawrence and one of the other big guys as well. That would be the ideal scenario. But there is one last guy who the Colts can try to sign, and it’s someone they know very well.
