It is finally almost here. The Colts face the Chiefs tomorrow in the divisional round. Who will come out on top and advance to the AFC Championship?

The Colts and the Chiefs will play tomorrow at 4:35 for a spot in the AFC Championship game. Whoever wins will have to beat the elements as well, as it looks like it will be a snowy night in Kansas City. So who will win the game tomorrow night?

Look for it to be a close game throughout. Both teams have an offense capable of fireworks, and both should put up decent numbers. If the Colts can run the ball though, they might be able to control the time of possession and keep the Chiefs off the field.

That will be the biggest key in this game. If the Chiefs front seven can keep Marlon Mack in check, they have a great chance to win the game. If they don’t, the Colts have the edge. Expect Indianapolis to try to run the ball early to establish the run game and run play action off of that.

Patrick Mahomes will let it fly. He will probably win MVP after the season is over. He hasn’t been stopped all season long, so the Colts defense has a rough challenge ahead. But that unit has been doubted all year long and has come up big. It will be interesting to see how well they stop him.

Game prediction: Colts 34 Chiefs 31

I haven’t fully trusted this Colts defense all year long. It’s finally time I start doing so. They will do just enough to slow down Mahomes, and Andrew Luck leads the Colts on a game winning drive to go the AFC Championship.

The Colts will need all of the lucky breaks to make this happen, so hopefully they can play well enough to facilitate those breaks.
