The Colts play the Chiefs tomorrow, and they know that it will be a tough challenge. But it will be less tough if their best wide receiver tears them up like he did the last time these two teams played.

T.Y. Hilton has played some great football lately. He has been a key contributor over the last month and a half, and he has done so while being injured. He won’t be completely healthy for the game tomorrow either, but maybe he doesn’t have to be.

Hilton had a monster game the last time these two played. He had over 200 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns in the 2014 wild card game in Lucas Oil Stadium during that unbelievable comeback. The Colts were down 28 in the 3rd quarter and rallied to win 45-44.

In that game, Hilton caught the game-winning touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. He carved up the Chiefs secondary the entire second half and was the best playmaker on the field. The Colts are hoping he can have a similar effort this time around.

This game is much different though. The seeding is different, the venue is different, and the weather is different too. Most importantly, the rosters are different. Only a few players remain from that fantastic comeback on both teams.

Expect Hilton to be a factor in this game, but probably not to the tune of over 200 yards receiving. The Colts shouldn’t even be throwing the ball that much. With snowy weather on the way, they should run the ball against a bad run defense.

Either way, Hilton has a nice history against the Chiefs. It would be nice if he could add to that history tomorrow night.
