It looked like it was going to be a blowout early on, as the Colts took a 21-0 lead. But they were still able to win 21-7. Here is how each unit played.

For the entire first half, the Colts looked like they were unstoppable on offense. They only stopped themselves, as they did not punt a single time during the entire half. They slowed down a bit in the second half though. Here is how each unit fared tonight.

Andrew Luck was rolling in the first half, throwing for two touchdowns. He only threw for 222 yards in this game on 32 passing attempts. He did throw an interception in the first half, but that was because it was tipped. Solid, but not great effort from him.

Marlon Mack was fantastic all game long. He had 24 rushes for 148. He was gashing the Texans defense all game long. Jordan Wilkins added a couple of rushes as well. But this night was all about Mack and his running attack. Surprisingly, there was no Nyheim Hines today.

T.Y. Hilton continues to dominate in NRG Stadium. He had 5 catches for 85 yards and had 3 third down conversions. He is still clearly hampered with his ankle, but he is still effective. Dontrelle Inman had a touchdown catch as well. Good effort by these guys.

Eric Ebron caught the first touchdown pass of the day. He had 3 catches for 26 yards. He was the only tight end to catch a pass today. But the whole unit did a great job blocking in the run game, especially in the jumbo package.

This unit was the star of the show on offense. They opened up huge holes for Mack in the run game, and protected Luck. Luck was not sacked a single time. They handled Houston’s front seven extremely well all night long. This unit is mean to deal with.

The Colts travel to Kansas City next week, and the Chiefs should be worried. This is a good football team right now.
