There are plenty of great players on this year’s Colts team that has helped them reach the playoffs, but there are five in particular that should get special recognition.

The Colts are in the playoffs for the first time since 2014. There are plenty who deserve credit for that accomplishment. From the front office to coaches to players, there is plenty of credit to go around. But there are five certain players who deserve it more than the rest.

These five players are an integral part of the team. Without them performing the way they have this season, there is no chance this team would have made the playoffs. This isn’t to say that all of the other players on the roster aren’t significant. It’s just that these guys are crucial to the team’s success.

This list is a healthy mix of both offensive and defensive players. These players will be crucial for the Colts to advance in the playoffs as well. So let’s start with someone who not many outside of Indianapolis knew existed until this season.
