Colts injury report: Two ruled out for Sunday night
By Ryan Stano
The Colts will roll into the game against the Titans with only two players ruled out before Sunday night. But one of those players is a very important player to this team.
Going into the final game of the season, the Colts know that they have to win to stay alive for the playoffs. It is a win and you’re in scenario. In such a scenario, they would like to be as healthy as possible entering the game. Right now, they only have two players ruled out.
The first player is Daurice Fountain. He is not a big loss, as he has yet to play in a game this year. He is out with an ankle injury. The Colts have plenty of other wide receivers they can throw the ball to instead, including T.Y. Hilton who said he will play no matter what.
Unfortunately, the other player ruled out is a big one. It is center Ryan Kelly, who still hasn’t recovered from that neck injury he sustained last week. That is a huge loss. When the Colts were without him for the Jacksonville game at home, his presence was greatly missed.
It will be Evan Boehm taking over yet again. The good news is that the Colts do get Mark Glowinksi back at right guard after he had been out a few games. But the Colts might be without Eric Ebron. He is a game-time decision after going through concussion protocol.
I would be surprised if Clayton Geathers played as well. He didn’t practice all week with that knee injury he has been nursing. He is officially listed a questionable. Everyone else listed as questionable should play on Sunday night.
It’s the biggest game of the year, and every single player is going to to their best to make sure they can play in it.
