Colts vs. Texans week 14: Fantasy watch
By Ryan Stano
The Colts play the Texans on Sunday, and their should be a decent amount of fantasy action in that game. Here is who you should start on Sunday.
Most fantasy leagues are now getting into the playoffs. My league is in the first week of the postseason actually. In order for you to succeed and move on to the next round, you need solid games from key players. This game should have a wealth of both.
Andrew Luck should be started in all leagues. He had a horrible game last week after being shut out, but that only makes him a better start this week. He will be angry and will want to put up all kinds of yards on the Texans defense. Expect him to have a solid game.
Expect the same out of Eric Ebron. He still leads all tight ends in touchdown receptions, and has the third most targets in the red zone of anyone this year. He should get into the end zone at least once this game. Look for him to also have a bounce back effort.
T.Y. Hilton is the only other Colts player to warrant a start. He should also have a good game. He typically gives the Texans issues. With Ebron being one of the focal points of the offense, the Houston defense might be forced to single cover Hilton, which should lead to a big game.
For Houston, Deshaun Watson is a good start. The Colts have had issues containing him when he has played. He takes too many sacks sometimes though, so be wary of that. But he should still put up solid numbers for you against an inconsistent Colts D.
Lamar Miller is a decent start as well. He has had an up and down year as far as fantasy is concerned. He is going against a Colts defense who has played well at times against the run. But Miller should be able to break through and get at least double-digit points for you.
Hopefully this advice helps you move on to the next round of your fantasy playoffs!
