This could be a tricky game for the Colts on Sunday. It has trap game written all over it. Do they find a way to move past the distractions and win the game? Here is what Vegas is saying about the game.

The Colts and the Jags are having polar opposite seasons since first meeting. The first meeting was a game of two 3-5 teams trying to save their season. One team did, winning three straight since then. The other has lost three straight since then.

But just because the Jags have spiraled downward doesn’t mean that this game will be easy for the Colts. They could get caught looking ahead to Houston next week. That game has divisional consequences. But they need to take care of business against Jacksonville first.

The Colts are 4 point favorites in Jacksonville. This is for a few reasons. They are without their best player and are playing their backup quarterback. The Colts defense should have a field day, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them force multiple turnovers. I would take the Colts outright.

The over/under in this game is 47. That seems low with what the Colts offense has been doing recently, and the Colts defense propensity to not play well against the Jags in the past. But based on everything I just wrote above, 47 might be about right for this one.

Meanwhile, no one can stop the Colts offense. They have been dominating teams over the past two months. Even if they are forced to play without Marlon Mack in this one, they should still move the ball at will. Expect a lot of points from the Colts, but not enough for the over. Take the under.

This should be a good barometer of how good the Colts really are. It should also be a good test of your sports betting skills. Hopefully, both end up being wonderful.
