The Colts and the Titans face off in a heated divisional battle. This game on Sunday will come down to a few key matchups.

Matchups always dictate who wins the game. Whoever wins those key matchups wins the game. That will be the case on Sunday between the Colts and the Titans. These are the matchups that will decide who wins the game on Sunday.

Colts offensive line vs. Titans defensive line.

Most games are won in the trenches, and this game will be no different. The Titans have a top five defense in terms of total yardage. If they get movement up front, they can disrupt Marlon Mack and the Colts running game. Doing that would kill the offensive momentum of the Colts.

Colts pass catchers vs. drops

Last week, we saw an ugly return of the drops from the Colts. Nyheim Hines dropped an easy first down catch in the second half. Erik Swoope dropped a pass and it resulted in an interception. They can’t let those drops creep back into their play. If they do, they will lose Sunday.

Titans offense vs. Titans offense

Last week, Tennessee played a fantastic game last week against the Patriots. They were able to move the ball really well all game long. But they have struggled most of the season moving the ball consistently. Most of that is because of poor play. They need to be consistent if they are going to win Sunday.

Fans vs. nervousness

The fans in Lucas Oil Stadium were a little worried late in the game last week. They watched their team almost collapse and lose. They got out of it and they weren’t as loud as they normally are. The Colts will need the crowd to be loud if they want to win this week.

Most of the game should be fairly close. But if the Colts can win these matchups, they should get a win.
