The Colts are playing well as of late, and the hope is to play better with more healthy guys. Today’s injury report continues to be encouraging for Colts fans.

The Colts are coming off a bye week to face the Jaguars. Both teams are coming off bye weeks, so both teams should be pretty healthy coming into the game. The Colts continue to get good news on that front, as today’s injury report shows.

Only four players did not practice today. Ryan Hewitt, Mike Mitchell, Erik Swoope, and Kemoko Turay all sat out of practice today. Turay could just be a precaution, as he is dealing with a neck injury. Mitchell, Hewit, and Swoope miss their second consecutive day of practice.

Meanwhile, two guys who didn’t practice yesterday were out there in full. Clayton Geathers, who has a knee injury, was out there as a full go. So was Hassan Ridgeway who was dealing with an illness. Both should probably play on Sunday.

Robert Turbin and Braden Smith were also full participants. Turbin has missed the last few games with a shoulder injury, and Smith has been nursing a hand injury that knocked him out briefly against Oakland. Both are on track to play against Jacksonville.

Marlon Mack, Malik Hooker, Ryan Grant, and Nate Hairston all practiced on a limited basis. Mack is still dealing with that foot injury, as is Grant with his ankle. Hooker has a hip injury that kept him out against the Raiders. Hairston has an ankle injury as well.

Hopefully all of the guys who are being held back from participating fully are still able to play come Sunday. Some of those guys are key and the Colts need them out on the field. Tomorrow’s report will give us a better indication of who will play.
