The Colts had already ruled five players out for today’s game against the Raiders. Who else is ruled out of the matchup?

The Colts play a sneaky tough game against the Raiders today. They have been dealing with injuries a lot this season. They have already ruled out five players prior to today. But who else did they rule out for today?

As of right now, those were the only players who are listed as inactive. Those players are Malik Hooker, Ryan Grant, Robert Turbin, Jihad Ward, and Erik Swoope. The team had been preparing to be without those players all week.

As far as injuries go, it could have been a lot worse. Some players are still game time decisions, but this is the most healthy the team has been in awhile. That is a good thing for a team who needs to get healthy for the stretch run of the season. They need all the players they can get.

For this game against the Raiders, those missing players aren’t too significant. The biggest loss is Hooker, who has been decent since coming back from an ACL tear last season. Clayton Geathers could play, and that would put Mike Mitchell in Hooker’s spot.

The Colts should still be able to win this game without these players. If they can’t win, then they should just try to lose all the rest of their games and tank. But that won’t happen. The Colts should come out of Oakland today with a big win.
