With the bye week coming up next week, the Colts will be able to get some rest soon. But until then, they need to play full force with all of their energy.

Winning games is not easy in the NFL. It is perhaps the professional sports league with the most parity. Every team has elite talent and can win on any given day. With that being the case, teams have to focus on every game at hand.

The Colts will need to do that on Sunday. They play the Raiders right before the bye week. Indianapolis is a team that is banged up and has been all year long. They need to focus on having a good game. If they can do that, they will win the game.

Make no mistake, this is a game that they need to win. The Colts have had issues closing out previous games. The Raiders are a bad team. They need to make sure they can beat the bad teams. Otherwise, they might as well start tanking for better draft position.

The hardest thing for a team to do is focus on playing through pain and injury. The Colts are banged up. And they know that the bye week is right around the corner. Getting that rest will be paramount for the rest of the season. But they can’t rest this week.

dark. Next. Five ruled out against Raiders

I expect the Colts to come out firing on all cylinders. They should have a fire in their bellies. I wouldn’t expect the Raiders to have enough answers to beat them. But you never know in this league.
