The Colts played a great game on Sunday, winning 37-5. The defense played their best game of the season. Here is how each unit graded out for the game.

The defense has been the best part of this Colts team. They have been putting the team in position to get more wins. This time, it finally came to fruition. They throttled the Bills 37-5. Here is how each individual unit performed.

DEFENSIVE LINE. B+. . DL. Indianapolis Colts

They were pretty good all game long. They put enough pressure on Derek Anderson to make him uncomfortable and force him into mistakes. Jabaal Sheard and Kemoko Turay recorded a sack too. They also did a good job closing gaps in the running game as well. Good game for the defensive line.

A. . LB. Indianapolis Colts. LINEBACKERS

Darius Leonard is a monster. He had 17 sacks and a fumble recovery. He continues to be a machine and doing everything he possibly can to make plays. The other linebackers played well too, closing up running holes and doing well in coverage.

Indianapolis Colts. SECONDARY . A+. . S

This was by far the best game the secondary has played. Mike Mitchell had another great game. He had an interception and a forced fumble. The Colts had 3 interceptions in total. They had lock down coverage and didn’t let anyone get open. It was a dominant performance.

The Colts did not play like this all year long. But what they did Sunday is very encouraging. It was against the Bills who have been horrible on offense all year long, but it is still an NFL team. The whole defense should be proud of their performance.
