The Colts got some good news on Thursday with several players coming back to the practice field. The injury report looks a lot less daunting now.

Several players returned to practice on Thursday for the Colts. Even though some of them did so on a limited basis, it is still good to see the players make progress. Some of these players might be available on Sunday.

One of the players back in a limited capacity was Anthony Castonzo. He was able to get back out there while dealing with a hamstring. It doesn’t seem likely that he will play on Sunday, but the possibility is now out there with him practicing today.

Malik Hooker was also practicing on a limited basis. They need him to stay out on the field, although he hasn’t had a great season so far. His safety mate Clayton Geathers was back as a full participant, so at least one of the two should be good to go for this week.

Eric Ebron was back at full go today. He was out yesterday with a shoulder/knee. Yesterday was likely just a rest day to kind of make sure he is good to go for Sunday. The Colts are going to need him with Jack Doyle still being out with his hip injury.

Denico Autry was a full participant as well. He has been out with an ankle injury. He missed last week’s game against Philly. Having him back on the defensive line would be a big boost for the pass rush.

The Colts listed everyone on the injury report on their twitter account.

The Colts need some of these players to get healthy quickly. Although this week’s game isn’t against a tough opponent, next week is a short week. They take on the Patriots on Thursday night, and will need to be at full strength for that one.
