The Colts play their first divisional game against the Texans on Sunday. If you’re looking to do some sports betting, here is everything you need to know about the game.

The Colts and the Texans have had a little bit of a rough start to the season. Neither team has looked great in their first three games. This game will have a lot of implications for both teams later in the season. But here is how Vegas sees the game.

As of right now, the Colts are favored by 1 point. This is a little surprising considering the Colts are at home. Usually that’s good enough for at least a 3 point spread. With the spread being 1, you’re pretty much forced to make a winning pick. I’d take the Colts outright.

The over/under for the game is 47. That is pretty close to accurate in my opinion. The Colts defense might hold the Texans to a lower scoring affair, but the Colts offense should score points. If I were forced to make a pick, I would take the under. But only slightly.

Taking the implications of this game into account, it should be a hotly contested one. Both teams badly need to win. The Colts need to use their home crowd to their advantage. It should be a loud one. Colts fans know how bad they need to win this one.

That is part of the reason why I take the Colts outright to win this game. Taking the favorite won’t make you a lot of money, but it seems to be the smart bet right now. The line could move prior to kickoff, and it could widen in the Colts favor.
