The Colts have continued to struggle with health issues, and it is only getting worse now. More offensive lineman are hurt.

The Colts will be without their starting right tackle for a few weeks. Joe Haeg was listed as week-to-week by head coach Frank Reich. He is currently on crutches in a walking boot. This is not a good sign to an already depleted unit.

Anthony Castonzo is still out, and it is unknown when he will come back. That means it’ll be Le’Raven Clark again at left tackle, and now Denzelle Good at right tackle. Good has just come back from an injury of his own, and the timing couldn’t of been better.

This will likely mean the Colts will continue to make conservative play calls. Expect Andrew Luck to take very few deep shots. They just don’t have the protection in order to do so. They want to get the ball out of his hands before the pass rush overruns the offensive line.

Haeg has played relatively well so far this season. He has actually done a decent job as a starter. But now Good will come in almost cold into action. He will have to find a way to keep the play at an acceptable level at the right tackle spot.

As far as the rest of the Colts are concerned, we will find out more when practice commences tomorrow. We will be able to see who is able to practice and who still cannot. Hopefully there are more players who can than can’t.

Injuries are always a part of the game. But it seems like the Colts keep getting hit harder with the injury bug than other teams. They just have to suck it up and adapt.
