Even with training camps opening this week, there are still a number of talented players left unemployed. So far, Chris Ballard has done an excellent job of maintaining cap space this offseason. By rebuilding his team through the draft, Ballard has kept the Colts nearly $52 million under the projected NFL salary cap. Now the question is; what will the Colts do with all this money?

The Colts have taken a timid approach throughout this rebuilding process, and for a good reason. There is no need to waste salary cap on players that will make a minimal impact for a team that, as of right now, is a borderline playoff contender. With that being said, there are still a number of talented free agents left on the market. With the Colts being so young, it could benefit the locker room to add one or two veterans to the roster.
