The Colts are hosting training camp in Westfield instead of Anderson, where they have been for a long time. How will fans respond to the change of venue.

The Colts will be holding training camp soon in a brand new venue; Westfield’s Grand Park. The team was in Anderson during most of its training camps prior. This new venue is super nice and state-of-the-art, but what will fans think of the change.

Being from Westfield myself, I might be slightly biased. Grand Park is a fantastic venue and will be a great place for fans to watch the team. It also is only about a half hour away from downtown where the team’s complex is, so it should be closer for most fans.

Westfield is also just big enough to accommodate fans from the surrounding area. There is great food nearby as well. The complex is also easy to get to. Most fans can just take US 31 either north or south the whole way there, or take state road 32 east or west to get there.

Other than the logistics of the venue, the complex will be great for the team. It allows them easy access to the fans, which is crucial. Fans will be able to be up close and personal to the players. Grand Park also has great fields for the team to use, which is obviously huge.

If this training camp goes well, the Colts will consider using this venue for future training camps. I would expect the team and the fans to like it very much. It should be a great couple of weeks for everyone involved, and will give the team a good venue to battle for roster spots.
