Most teams are done signing free agents. This includes the Colts. Which of the free agents they signed will have the biggest impact moving forward?

The Colts were relatively quiet on the free agent front. They left a lot of their cap space untouched and could roll it over into next offseason. But they still did sign some players who could make an impact with the team next year. Which of them will have the biggest impact though?

Matt Slauson seems like the obvious answer from a distance. The offensive line has been a much maligned unit and in need of improvement for a number of years. Adding a veteran like Slauson to a relatively young group should allow unit to come together under the leadership of a veteran.

Ryan Grant is an interesting signing as well. He adds some depth that was badly needed to the wide receiving corp. He could be a solid number two behind T.Y. Hilton if he can live up to his potential. But that has been the problem with Grant since he’s been in the league; he has under-performed.

Denico Autry has had some of the same problems in the past. He has also been a constant under-performer. But if he can live up to his physical skill set, he has the opportunity to help the pass rush. The Colts are in desperate need of help in that regard.

Ultimately, Eric Ebron might be the player who has the biggest impact. He too has had issues performing in key spots. But his physical tools are undeniable. He is big, fast, and has the ability to exploit mismatches. Giving Andrew Luck another weapon is never a bad thing.

Hopefully for Colts fans, all of these free agents perform well. But Ebron could have the biggest impact if he pays off.
