TIER 1: Week 3 @Philadelphia;  Week 5 @New England;  Week 13 @Jacksonville

There are only three games on the schedule that I see as definite losses for Indy.

They include three road matchups versus the defending Super Bowl Champions, the defending AFC Champs, and the defending AFC runner-up.

This does not mean that these contests will be blowouts. Instead, I simply do not see the Colts going into these three stadiums and coming out with a victory.

Philadelphia will surely be a top team once again, especially with Carson Wentz expected to healthy for the regular season. Unfortunately, the week 3 matchup is still early on in the season, and with all the new faces in Indy, it is going to take a few weeks of game action for the offense to come together.

The same goes for the week 5 matchup with the Patriots in Foxboro. With the Patriots being the poster child of consistency, it will take nothing short of a perfect game for the Colts to pull out a win on the road. The Patriots hold a 10-2 mark against the Colts at home since 2000, and it should be 11-2 come October.

I also marked the road matchup with Jacksonville as tier 1 due to the rising dominance of the Jags’ defense. Jacksonville is surely a team on the rise, and should have no issue clearing out Indy on their home turf.
