Round 6, 185th Overall Pick: WR Deon Cain

Based purely on talent, Clemson wide receiver Deon Cain should’ve probably been a third or fourth round pick. However, he failed a drug test in college and earned a suspension, which assuredly hurt his draft stock.

Cain racked up over 2,000 yards receiving with 20 touchdowns in three seasons at Clemson, and he performed well at the Combine with a 4.43-second 40-yard dash and a 6.71-second three-cone drill.

. WR. . DEON CAIN. A

Clemson has a long history of producing NFL talent at wide receiver, and the Colts may have gotten one of the biggest steals in the draft by selecting Deon Cain in the sixth round.
