The Colts have had their 2018 schedule released. Which games are winnable for the Horseshoes?

Tonight was the schedule release for the entire league. Everyone gets the first look at who they play over the course of the 2018 season. The Colts obviously play their divisional opponents twice like they do every year, and they were set to play the NFC East and the AFC East. So what are the important games?

The most important one is the first one. The Colts face the Bengals at home to open the season on September 9th at 1pm. That opener will set the tone for the season. Cincinnati is the only AFC North team that Indianapolis faces.

The Colts only have one prime time game all season long. That is on Thursday, October 4th at 8:20pm. That game is in New England to face the Patriots. Games against the Patriots are always testy, and should be even more intense after the Josh McDaniels situation.

There is a game against the New York Giants that is the second to last game of the year that does not have a date yet. That could potentially be a prime time game. Other than that, all the other times have been announced.

Indianapolis put out their schedule on their twitter account.

There are definitely some winnable games early for the Colts. They play the Bengals in week one and the Jets in week six. But there are still some formidable opponents, including the Patriots, Cowboys, and the defending Super Bowl Champion Eagles.
