THEY HAVE A SHREWD GENERAL MANAGER

Chris Ballard may be relatively new to the general manager position, but so far he is pulling all of the right levers.

From his patient handling of Andrew Luck’s injury and rehab to decisions regarding disgruntled players, Ballard is showing that this is his team, he is willing to be patient, and he can make the unpopular decisions.

Nowhere is that more evident than pulling off a shrewd trade with the potential to stockpile better long-term talent in the upcoming draft .
