2nd Round: 36th Overall Pick
The Colts haven’t addressed the inside linebacker position yet this offseason, but they may be able to find a fixture in the middle of their defense at the top of the second round.
Former Boise State Bronco Leighton Vander Esch‘s draft stock has been steadily rising this offseason, but it’s still possible that he’s on the board at the 36th overall pick.
Vander Esch was incredibly productive in college, and he showed he was an NFL-level athlete with his performance at the Combine.
Leighton Vander Esch could be a really solid solution to the Colts’ inside linebacker problem.
