The Colts have a long list of things they need to do in the offseason. They have plenty of moves to make, so what are the most important things they need to do?

The Colts have a lot of work to do in the offseason. They have plenty of moves to make if they want to be competitive in the next few seasons. The Colts need to be able to do a long list of things.

Their top priority should be to re-sign Rashaan Melvin. He is a lock-down corner that can help the defense force quarterbacks to throw to only one side of the field. He has excellent ball skills and can force turnovers.

The next thing they should do is get some decent offensive lineman for a good price. The Colts have a lot of cap space to use, and they need to use some of it to shore up the o-line. Andrew Luck needs to stay upright and healthy, so the Colts need to invest in their offensive line.

Next on their list should be scouting top prospects and making sure they make the right choice on their first round pick. They have to make the right choice with that pick. That is the first huge pick that GM Chris Ballard has to work with, so he can’t afford to mess it up.

A smaller priority for the organization should be to re-sign Frank Gore. He is a good running back, but he is obviously on the older side. The Colts already have a solid young back in Marlon Mack and potentially could take Saquon Barkley with the number three pick.
