The Indianapolis Colts made a series of roster moves on Monday following this past weekend’s rookie minicamp.

Specifically, the team signed free agent offensive guard Blake Muir, as well as four undrafted free agents: cornerback Dante Blackmon, safety Tyson Graham, wide receiver Al-Damion Riles, and offensive tackle Andrew Wylie–all 5 being tryout players.

In order to create roster space, the Colts waived two returning players: center Austin Blythe and cornerback Frankie Williams.

Meanwhile, three undrafted rookie free agents were also waived: wide receiver Jerome Lane, cornerback Chris Lyles, and offensive guard Chris Muller.

Of course, the biggest name is Blythe, who was last year’s 7th round pick and appeared in 8 games (1 start) last season for the Colts.

With the Colts signing veteran Brian Schwenke, who can play both center and guard, Blythe may simply not have been needed as the odd man out.

It’s worth noting that Williams was a standout preseason performer from last year out of Purdue at cornerback and ended up appearing in 3 games for the Colts in 2016–having bounced around on Indianapolis’ practice squad.
