According to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, Seattle Seahawks nose tackle John Jenkins will visit the Indianapolis Colts on Friday.

The 27 year old spent last season with both the Seahawks, as well as the New Orleans Saints:

The 6’3″, 359 pound nose tackle is coming off a season in which he recorded 13 tackles in 9 games (1 start) with both the Seahawks and Saints.

Originally a 2013 3rd round pick of the Saints, the 4-year veteran has 67 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 2 passes defensed, and a forced fumble in 51 career games (22 starts).

Whether Jenkins’ visitation is impacted by the recent Al Woods signing is unclear–who has played nose tackle; however, it does appear as though new general manager Chris Ballard is actively seeking to improve the Colts depth along the defensive line.

As the Colts are still apparently waiting on prized Kansas City Chiefs nose tackle Dontari Poe‘s final decision as a free agency suitor, it appears that Indianapolis is still continuing to look to bolster their defensive line depth regardless.

If you’re a Colts defensive lineman lower on the depth chart, it’s safe to say that you’re officially on notice.
