2. Nick Perry, Outside Linebacker, Green Bay Packers

The 5th-year pass rusher is fresh off of a breakout campaign with the Green Bay Packers, having recorded a career high 11.0 sack season. Starting in 14 games for the Packers, Nick Perry also had 52 tackles and a forced fumble this past season.

Originally drafted in the 1st round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Packers, it has taken Perry some time to ‘come into his own’. Specifically, in his previous four seasons, he had a combined total of just 12.5 sacks.

However, per Pro Football Focus (subscription), the 6’3″, 265 pound outside linebacker was their 19th best ‘edge defender’ with a +82.2 grade overall.

Perry could present a slightly cheaper alternative to say Melvin Ingram at the pass rusher position in free agency, yet the 26 year old figures to be a force off the edge for years to come as well.

As mentioned, the Colts could clearly use a young impact pass rusher going forward too given their dire need at the position.
