Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck said following Monday’s practice that he is showing no lingering concussion symptoms, although he remains in the league’s protocol:

The Colts quarterback was limited to a non-contact practice in his normally accustomed red jersey, but by all accounts, was seen sharply zipping throws to his receivers.

Of course, the next step for Luck actually clearing the league’s concussion protocol will be participating in a contact practice (although Luck normally wears a red jersey to begin with)–presumably on Wednesday and then being evaluated by an independent neurologist subsequently thereafter.

Still, it looks as though Luck will be ready by next Monday night’s game against the New York Jets, as his head coach Chuck Pagano has already said that he expects Luck to play.
