The Indianapolis Colts announced on Sunday that the team has waived ten players including: wide receiver Justin Berger, safety Alden Darby, offensive guard Eric Herman, defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin, tight end Mike Miller, running back Chase Price, cornerback Winston Rose, defensive end Delvon Simmons, wide receiver Josh Stangby, and inside linebacker Junior Sylvestre.

The team has to get down to 75 players by Tuesday’s afternoon deadline, but most of these were relatively easy releases to make. However, the team will still need to make 5 additional cuts to get to 75 players, which could be a lot tougher all things considered.

Of the released group, defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin, tight end Mike Miller, defensive end Delvon Simmons, and inside linebacker Junior Sylvestre’s names stand out the most in my opinion.

However, none of these cuts were really surprising to say the least. Most of these players were relatively recent additions to the roster because of injuries and were significant longshots to make the 53-man active roster.
