1. Andrew Luck, Quarterback

With the Colts, it all starts and stops with superstar quarterback Andrew Luck.

After inking the richest deal in NFL history, the Colts have now locked up their franchise player for the foreseeable future. The lofty expectations shouldn’t affect a player as well-grounded as Luck.

However, while Luck has been reported as healthy for a while now, it will be Colts fans first extended live look at the star quarterback since his season-ending lacerated kidney injury that cost him his team’s final 7 regular season games.

Simply seeing Luck on the field, completing throws with his usual zip, accuracy, and arm strength–pain free should be a sigh of relief for Colts fans.

The Colts quarterback endured a disappointing season, but is just one season removed from throwing for a league-leading 40 touchdown passes and carrying the Colts to the AFC Championship Game.

Luck should be considered one of the NFL’s leading Comeback Player of the Year Contenders and perhaps even an MVP candidate–should he return to his prior elite form.
